The Junior-K (5′s) clasS Is designed to continue pre-kindergarten development for children who are ready for a more challenging curriculum but not yet ready to enter the world of elementary school. This class offers the “gift Of a year“ to allow children to continue learning and developing at their own pace in a class that will help build upon the skills they will need for kindergarten success. The teachers use a theme based curriculum which includes letters, shapes, colors, math, science, dramatic play, concepts, fruit of the spirit and Bible verses. OuR daily schedule incorporates circle time, art, science, math, music, manipulatives, table time, storytime and centers into the lesson plans.

through hands-on play and teacher guided activities, students develop fine and gross motor skills, refine social and emotional development, practice listening skills and further enhance knowledge to better prepare them for the journey into kindergarten. JR-K (5’s) is between pre-K (4’s) and kindergarten and our staff can help determine if this class is the right fit for your child. JR-k (5’s) meets four days each week for 3 hours.
